Pastor Mike Radcliff is following where God is leading him. For the foreseeable future, or until October 2nd, Pastor Mike Radcliff will be preaching on the Burlington Park trails at 8 a.m. on Sundays, weather permitting. His intent is not to replace Sunday morning Worship, but to supplement it. Come join him in morning devotion and see some of God’s beautiful creations right here in the Burlington community.

2010 marked the One Hundredth Anniversary of the Dedication of our current church Meetinghouse. On December 4, 1920, Dr. J. Allen Miller (1866-1935), a native of Rossville, Indiana, and then the Dean of the Bible Department of Ashland College, came to Burlington for the special day and offered the dedication of the building. Rev. Harvey M. Harley, Pastor of the Burlington church (1910-1914) commented: “This was a glorious day for the Brethren of this place. Three services were held during the day, and each time the house was crowded to the doors with an appreciative and sympathetic audience. At both the morning and evening services, Brother Miller preached most excellent sermons… The afternoon service was in the nature of a fellowship meeting.” [from K. Cynthia Stout, p.81]. The first Sunday of December was a day of remembrance, thanksgiving and celebration with a special worship service and a carry-in dinner. God blessed the occasion with former Pastor Rev. Ken Goss (1979-1983) delivering the sermon as the guest preacher.

Remember, we are collecting winter coats, hats, gloves, and scarves on August 8th and 15th from9-Noon, and will have a booth at the Burlington Fall Festival for the Coat Give-A-Way.  Coat Racks needed.
